Chartered in 1947, Soroptimist International of Corona is a non-profit 501 (c)(3)* business women’s service organization, which improves the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.

The name, Soroptimist, means “best for women,” and that’s what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best.  S.I. Corona is part of an international organization that boasts over 90,000 members working within their own communities and globally.

We have seen lives changed for the better through our signature service project, Dreams and Decisions (a workshop for intermediate school girls with emphasis on building self-esteem, mentoring, and education to help prevent teen pregnancy), our Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It Career program for High School girls and our High School Scholarship Program.  We participate in the Live Your Dream - Education and Training Award where we provide financial assistance and mentoring for 3 years to a female head of household who is going to school.

We also support "at promise" girls programs at our local schools, Inspire Life Skills Training, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Human Trafficking Intervention programs among others.
