Soroptimist International of Corona
Improving the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.

Chartered in 1947, Soroptimist International of Corona is a non-profit 501 (c)(3)* business women’s service organization, which improves the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.

The name, Soroptimist, means “best for women,” and that’s what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best.  S.I. Corona is part of an international organization that boasts over 90,000 members working within their own communities and globally.

We have seen lives changed for the better through our signature service project, Dreams and Decisions (a workshop for intermediate school girls with emphasis on building self-esteem, mentoring, and education to help prevent teen pregnancy), our Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It Career Mentoring program for High School girls and our Scholarship Program.  We participate in the Live Your Dream - Education and Training Award where we provide financial assistance and mentoring for 3 years to a female head of household who is going to school. Our Women of Significance luncheon recognizes local women who excel in diverse areas of community service. We also support the Family Support Services at the United Way, the Teen Parent Program at Corona Vista High School, Inspire Life Skills Training and the Safe House. There are so many ways we are working to improve the lives of women and girls!  If you are a woman who shares our goals, we would love to talk with you about becoming an S.I. Corona member. Please Contact Us today to give you information about our meetings.
